OTHER RESOURCES
THIS PAGE HAS A FEW OTHER RESOURCES WE HOPE CAN BE A HELP TO YOU!
The DISCIPLESHIP JOURNEY is a great tool to look back at where your journey started, where you are now, and look toward the path that the Lord has planned for you next! Ultimately, to become a disciple-making disciple!

ACRONYMS THAT HAVE MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE FOR US:
One great way to Pray:
A.C.T.S.
A = Adoration: Start our prayers adoring our Lord, telling Him how we love Him.
C = Confession: Repent of our sins, iniquities, and transgressions and ask God to cleanse our heart, our mind and our soul, and any specifics that we need to lay at His feet.
T = Thanksgiving: Give thanks for His grace and mercy, His love and peace, the ability to use all our senses and functions, for our spouse and children (for those that have them), for our home, church, family, jobs, friends, and everything else beyond that.
S = Supplication: Whatever it is you need to ask of God, whoever it is you need to pray for, a time for praise, and a time to dwell quietly and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you.
We learned many years ago to pray using the A.C.T.S. acronym, it made an immediate change in how we pray…much more intentional. We are in no way telling you this is the only or best way to pray, it is simply best for us. Hopefully it works for you too!
Discernment of what Jesus is telling us to do:
G.O.S.P.E.L.
G = Gospel alignment: God’s direction always advances the gospel
O = Others: Trusted people often confirm God’s voice in our life
S = Scripture: The Bible is our primary source of God’s commands
P = Prayer: Bringing decisions before God through consistent prayer
E = Experience: Past experiences often confirm God’s calling
L = Love: Whatever God calls us to do will be driven by love
God never contradicts in personal direction what He has established in Scripture.
Some commands are universal for all believers: make disciples, forgive, tithe, love.
Sometimes we must “pray, guess, and go,” trusting God with the outcomes.
